Carved Georgian Irish Lion Head & Hairy Paw Feet Ornate Table Flamed Mahogany
A very decorative and rare little table, pieces like this I consider to be art furniture, it looks glorious from every angle. The legs are carved from one piece of timber, they nicely depict a Regal Lion with flowing main of hair, following down you have the Georgian Irish style Acanthus leaf, then finishing with a beautifully carved hairy paw foot. The table is late 19. Century Victorian, the timber top is flamed mahogany and in the right light really glows. We have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be a few light patina marks from honest age and genuine use.

This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
