A very good looking and rare piece of furniture, its not often you find a two tier bookcase of this form and shape, especially with the hand carved Lion hairy paw feet. The walnut is a mixture of Burr and Burl, its quarter cut using the finest pieces of timber. Each one perfectly carved and selected to form this stunning ornately decorated top. In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished the piece, there will be normal age related patina marks from honest use.
