Vintage Fruitwood Leather Topped Extending Bureau De Plat Desk Writing Table
A very decorative and collectable desk in lightly restored condition throughout. The desk comes complete with all original Gilt Bronze fixtures and fittings, the frame is all fruitwood and its finished with leather on the top and the extending shelves. The back of the desk is faux fronted so it matches both sides. The patina is lovely and original however its period so has all the normal ware and tare marks you would expect from a vintage desk, the main area is at the front where you work.
As it stands we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom and it looks lovely, it can be fully restored for the cost price should the new owner wish to make the top perfect. Height:- 76cm, under desk height for your legs 62.5cm. Width:- 149cm extending to 227cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
