64" - 100" Antique Mahogany Double Pedestal Dining Table w/4 Leaves. Gorgeous, vintage, Chippendale style dining table salvaged from a suburb in Boston, MA. Although the home that it came from dates back to the late 1800's, the table was made sometime around the middle of the previous century. The table and its 4 leaves are made of mahogany. With leaves inserted; the table is 100 long and weighs about 130 lbs.

It has a lovely, Chippendale style design. The former owner took good care of it, but unfortunately didn't protect the top from the sun. Aside from the nicks, small scrapes, and scratches on the legs (see last photo) which are normal wear for a piece this old; the worn, faded finish of the top is the only real flaw this table has.

The top also a few round stains from candles and vases, and there are scratches on it. However, it's nothing that a good refinishing wouldn't take care of. There are no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious flaws. The leaves are as close to mint condition as you could get for antique/vintage items. Once inserted, they fit tightly with the table and with each other; no gaps.

The former owner had them stored in a closet because she never used them. She only remembered her mother using them a few times. Our carpenter inspected it from top to bottom, inside and outside and found no repairs to make. The table's construction is tight, and it's structurally sound.
