FINE MID 18TH CENTURY ANTIQUE NEW ENGLAND MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE DROP LEAF PEMBROKE TABLE WITH CROSS X STRETCHER. With our compliments we are pleased to offer you this fine 18th century New England Chippendale Pembroke table with a cross X stretcher in an amber stained mahogany frame and a darker stained solid figured mahogany single plank top and drop leafs. This is a superb specimen in amazing condition with a dovetailed table box and pegged joinery. These particular pieces are hard to place a regionalism on as to where exactly they were crafted in 18th century New England.

We believe it to be from the South Shore of Massachusetts. It has original brasses and pure structural integrity with a molded drawer face. This is an extremely choice period Chippendale pembroke table. The only thing we can see is a previous owner placed some picture hanging wires to pull out its leaves support braces that telescope out of the table's frame. We'll replace these with some more attractive pulls befitting this superior piece.
