Wonderful 18th century Chippendale Connecticut Tilt top tea table. This table is made of cherry with a serpentine top. It is in all original condition with a nice patina and a nice old refinish. The top is made of 3 boards, typical of Connecticut tea tables. This table is more of a Massachusetts form, but has more similarities to tables made by Eliphalet Chapin, Hartford CT. Top measures 31.5" x 31.5".
It is 28,5" tall with the top down and 52" with the top up. I would be glad to answer any questions you have on this piece.
