Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this fantastic early 20th century Chippendale antique style mahogany Pembroke table. We whole heartedly believed this was a period table and refused to believe otherwise until we got our hands on it and checked out the construction. This table was made in the early 20th century to the exact proportions and standards of the finest 18th century cabinet shops and was probably made around Boston based on how good the table is and how early in the 20th century it was made. The Sack family was instrumental to building the antique industry into what it is today and their publications are still the gold standard.

We have multiple copies of their literature and our father knew the Sacks and we will attach a photo from Albert Sack's "Fine Points of Furniture" showing a near identical Pembroke table as a best example. The table has a serpentine top with drop leaves and has a large single drawer with an etched brass pull. The table has a complex pierced stretcher and finely formed molded Marlboro legs. The table measures 20 1/2" wide x 29" long x 29 tall.

When the leaves are locked up the table measures 38 1/2" wide x 29" long. We are a wholly owned family business in our third decade of continuous operation.

We do our best to give you an accurate condition report in our description of the items. We have expert woodworkers and re-finishers on staff to service any piece of furniture we offer.

We represent all merchandise in absolute good faith and to the very best of our ability. We specialize in New York City and Boston deliveries at extremely reasonable rates. We perform this service without the cost of labor as an appreciation for your patronage. This and our "volume shippers" discount creates a substantial lower cost for you. They are not furniture movers who bring the items into your home. We can get you special services in certain cases, but you are responsible for telling us you require them and for the extra cost of these services, if you instruct our shippers to provide services beyond curbside deliveries.

We are responsible for any additional services and charged for these services. Again the process is all designed to protect your investment and is an option offered for your protection. We don't like to send nice people off with things tied to roof racks. We are not a storage facility. We are happy to hold your items for a reasonable pre-agreed upon period.
