Perhaps of British naval origin, for the writing and storage of correspondence for a high ranking official, this diminutive, antique, campaign piece is crafted in the form of a miniature fall-front secretaire desk. The interior is fitted with three pigeonhole compartments over two drawers with brass bail handles and raised on a bracket feet.
