Antique HARRODS solid oak hand carved extending dining table and 6 chairs, 4 standard , 2 armed. And FREE matching court cupboard. Unfortunately I do not know what person/firm hand crafted this table. If any body knows or has any more knowledge about this set please drop me a message it would be much appreciated.

132cm length x 107cm width when closed. 213cm length x 107cm width when open.

Date it went into the Harrods depository was 3/5/1948 making this table set at least 70-75 years old or So I thought.. i have been messaged by an eBayer with more knowledge about furniture than me and was told that this set is more then likely to be much older as U. K furniture was designed more plane and practical at the time of WW2 so late 1800s or early 1900s making this table Antique. Ive searched a little and the set seems to resemble a more earlier 1700s style so Im lost to the exact date of craft but definitely 100+ years old so a genuine antique.

Original leather in amazing near new condition. On 2 of the seats the canvas underlay underneath the seat has sagged slightly and come away on the edge, an easy fix, I could glue/Staple myself but would rather leave to a professional. The table top on one of the corners has some light bubbling to the corner of the table, a very small blemish, an easy fix.

Light sand and a bees wax/polish i imagine. The Harrods Barnes depository SW13 in its self is a very interesting story. The site is still a capital landmark.

The table has been in my family 20+ years and I have used the table in my home a year myself, I also have the matching hand carved court cupboard, very big, very ornate, I have it in storage as it won't fit in my house. Detailed Pictures of the court cupboard to be sent on request.

I did not take it to them as i don't have the time nor the means. The price is for the table and chairs, the court cupboard comes for free so whether taken or not, price is the price. Viewing by appointment, more pics on request. Cash or personal transfer on collection preferred.
