Antique Mahogany Chippendale Coffee Table - solid wood. This beautiful table is most likely early to mid 1800's, possibly older - petite in size, typical for a parlor. There is no maker's mark. The influence of Thomas Chippendale is evident in the design and craftmanship. It is not a modern reproduction. It was hand crafted, as can be seen by the original chisel marks. It is a one of a kind table, beautifully hand crafted. I was having another piecerefinished and saw the table in the shop.

I inquired about it and the ownersaid it had been in her family for many generations and believed it to be fromthe early 1800's and possibly as early as 1780's, post revolution.
