Antique Vintage Columbia Mahogany Wood Wooden Side End Table Round Leather Top

  

21" Round Antique "Columbia Mahogany End Table w/4 Brass Casters. Exquisite, round, end table salvaged from Northeastern PA.

It was made by, Columbia Manufacturing Co. Of Louisville, KY sometime during the middle of the previous century.

It is made of solid mahogany and has a round, leather top. It also has 2 drawers w/brass knobs or pulls and 4 square legs with heavy-duty, solid brass casters. There are a couple of small pieces of missing veneer from the side edge of the drawers (see last photo). Other than that, there are nicks and light scratches here and there, which are common on a piece this old. However, there are no serious flaws like breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. The top has some subtle, circular marks from vases or bowls that were placed on it for an extended period of time. They're only noticeable at certain angles, so we tried to photograph the top from 2 different angles.

Our carpenter inspected the piece from top to bottom and found no repairs to make or joints to reinforce. All parts are tight and sturdy; no looseness or play. It's strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service. Overall : 21 " diameter x 25 1/4 " H (24 w/o casters).
