Circa 1830 William IV Rosewood Folding Games/card Table With Lion Hairy Paw Feet

  
This table is exactly as you would hope to find it, in original lightly restored condition throughout. The Rosewood has a glorious timber patina, this is the original Brazilian Rosewood which is an endangered species now, you could never have this piece again and never to this standard. The feet are very nice Lion hairy paw, popular in Georgian Irish furniture which we all know is pretty much the most collectable antique furniture on the market. Please have a closer look at the pictures because they form part of the description. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there are some chips in the timber around the edges which have been stained dark, otherwise its in great order for something that is the best part of 200 years old.

Antique and vintage/used items will show signs of wear which form part of their character. All our items are cleaned thoroughly, then a coat of wax is applied to revive the leather/wood and finally hand polished. Please make sure you are happy with the condition you see in the pictures, viewings are possible via appointment only.
