Circa 1920 Gold Giltwood Occasional Table With Mirror Top & Cherub Putti Swing

  

A lovely piece, this commands attention in any setting, it has such a feeling of life and innocent pleasure. The table has been gold leaf gilt from top to bottom, the mirror top can be used as a tray, the underside reveals a storage area. Alternatively, is has been altered so the mirror can stand and be used as a dressing table. The condition is good, there has been some touch up to the gold finish here and there, otherwise its totally original. Height:- 143cm with the mirror erected, 88.5cm with the mirror flat.
