Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this very rare, fully restored, super quality Gillows of Lancaster & London Amboyna wood & Burr Walnut Ebonised Aesthetic movement writing table desk. This desk is a real tour de force of quality, the cuts of timber, craftsmanship, the leather writing surface, this is just about as fine of an example of this type of work you will find anywhere in the world.

It is of course a writing table, it has the original VR stamped locks for Victorina Regina meaning they were made within the reign of Queen Victoria. The table is totally original including the castors and desk leather, it has had the top restored from the inside, its then been lightly washed back and French polished from the ground up being sure to keep all the original patination and charm.

Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
