Giltwood Pier Mirror & Quad Pedestal Leg Marble Topped Table After Robert Adam

  
A very good looking and highly decorative Pier mirror with matching console table, the pair together genuinely are massive, they can of course be used separately but if you have the ceiling height they make quite a statement. The glass is split into five sections, each piece is thick, with a bluish tinge and light shading in the background, bevelled in the corners to pull light into the frame. The timber is gilt and has a nice vintage patina. The console table has a solid almost burl marble top, the main body is giltwood as well, the detail is to a high standard. This is a modern set based on Robert Adams 18. Century originals which sell in the hundreds of thousands, it is a very good decorators piece and really adds a wow factor to any setting.
