Japanese Collectable Meiji Period 1868-1912 Bamboo Tray Side End Lamp Wine Table

  

A very fine example, these rarely come of for sale, this is in 100% period original condition, it dates to the late 19. Century circa 1880 when all things Japanese were considered wonderfully exotic in England. This piece is hand carved and finished from head to toe, just look at the individual chisel marks on the under side of the tray. The condition is good for the age, there are some losses to the top and patina marks all over as you would expect, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
