Kittinger Furniture Chippendale Style Ball & Claw Mahogany Drop Leaf Table. Table in overall very good condition. One cloudy white spot on one of the leaves.

Very well constructed and heavy piece. Beautifully crafted Kittinger Furniture Chippendale style drop-leaf side table (Model CW 134).

Based on an American antique, circa 1750. Solid mahogany rectangular top with deep "D" form drop leaves. The skirt has shaped details at the narrow ends. Cabriole style legs with a gentle curve culminate in expertly articulated ball-and-claw feet.

Two of the legs swing outward to support the drop leaves. Very heavy, solid piece of furniture. The original of this piece is in the library of the Brush-Everard House. Underside has both Kittinger/Williamsburg stamp, as well as a paper label. Length 33 x width 13 1/2 x height 27 1/2 inches.
