Store Item: KITTINGER Williamsburg Mahogany Chippendale Byrd China Table CW 192 Rare Description: This extraordinary china table is replicated from Williamsburg, Virginia table circa 1770. The original table has ties to the Byrd family of Virginia. Table features a pierced Rococo table skirt with a centered bird surrounded by open fret work. Used to display tea china and silver or alternatively, as a tea table.
The beautifully carved gallery was intended to prevent valuable objects from being pushed off the edge of the table. The Kittinger version of this table was made for a very short period of time, very difficult to find and rare. Condition Report: Table in very good condition has some wear, scuffs and scratches as expected. Measurements: H 30" X 35.5" W X 23.25 D. Items are pre-owned and will show the usual signs of scuffs, scratches, wear and use.
