Pair Of Walnut Fret Work Carved Thomas Chippendale Sheraton Revival Side Tables
Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this. Stunning pair of super rare, Thomas Chippendale Fret Work carved side end tables with sublime, Sheraton Revival style inlay. These are pretty much the best looking pair of two tier side tables I have ever seen, made in Mahogany and Walnut, they have obvious luxury's such as the Chippendale fret work carvings and then, super subtle luxuries like the Sheraton inlay which sits either side of the top drawer, it boarders the front legs and the base of the drawer, even the handles are ornately cast, they have what looks like Scottish Thistles which are repoussé meaning they are embossed from the rear. They have been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, they may have some light patina marks here and there but to me they look perfect. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
