Rare Pair Of Military Campaign Side Tables With Two Folded Round Tables Nested

  
A very good looking and rare set of tables, each piece has a premium cattle hide leather top, the edges have been gold leaf embossed. Inside each frame you have two folded nested round tables in solid mahogany, the legs are carved in whats called the famboo style, basically when oriental furniture started making its way to England in the 18. Century our furniture makers started reproducing it over here using our timbers, so these table legs are called famboo as in fake bamboo, they are carved from solid mahogany to look like oriental Bamboo, its very high end Regency styling. In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished the pair, there will be normal age related patina marks from honest use but I genuinely cant see any issues anywhere.

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
