Very Rare Mt Airy Yew Wood Commode or Bachelor Chest.. Nightstand, Lamp or Side Table/Chest. In Excellent Condition with just a few very minor marks -- this is NOT a National Mt Airy which became Bassett Furniture, this is an ORIGINAL MT AIRY with the Wood burned logo in the top drawer - the original Mt Airy established 1902 was destroyed by fire in 1997.

Beautiful small chest has a Finished Back so it can be used Mid Room next to a chair or sofa.. It is really an exceptional example of My Airy craftsmanship - it is all solid wood - no plywood - no particle board - all solid hardwood and Yew Wood. MEASURES: 19.5" wide x 14.5" deep x 22.5 tall.
